Thank you for your letter. I got into contact with Veronica and Ion. We believe we've got most of your messages figured out.
Someone told me they received a vision of you killing Tiger. Is that why you were banished? I believed so, but in the morgue, there is a place set for Dragon or Tiger's body. It's as if they expect one of them to die. It just seems... weird.
Ever since Dragon talked about the happy ending, everyone is working hard on fulfilling objectives. I know you'll probably be censored if you try to tell me, but it's what we should be doing, right? Collecting ink. But do you know who we're collecting it for? And why?

When we first got here, I didn't understand why you couldn't remember the last few weeks. I thought maybe it was luck, or fate. The truth is... For my dad's sake, and because all of Corona was against me, I did things that I don't regret. I'm not going to deny that they were bad, but my only regret is that none of them worked. But because of that, you threw me in jail. Or I guess your father did, but what's the difference? It doesn't matter. You caused all of this. If you'd just listened... IF anyone had just...
That's not the point. Because of that, I know that I'll die if I come back and you're not around. I don't think your request the king go "easy on me" will matter if you're dead, letters or not. I don't think anything I say or do will. But that doesn't matter to me. Whatever happens to me, I don't care, so long as I can just free my dad. It's all I want.
I think you were finally starting to understand my point of view in the end. It's too bad you died when it happened, right? Ha.
I'm writing you this because I think something in this place can make it happen. Fitzgerald was so certain they could bring back his daughter... All I need is a wish. I don't have a choice. Whether I'm fulfilling objectives on the off chance that you come back so I can still try to bring my father back, or whether I go along with this game to get a wish for it to happen on its own... It's the same thing, isn't it?
There's only one way to get what I want. It might save you in the process. I don't have a choice.

Hey! It's me. Varian. Again. A lot happened this past week, so maybe some of our letters will overlap. Sorry if that happens. To answer your question from last week, I don't know who's the Historian who talked about your, uh. Stabbing incident. I received the info secondhand from Stephanie. You might want to ask her.
First-- we added Stephanie to our info sharing circle (I guess it's a square now?), and because of that figured something else out. Ion got access to a paper that only said 333-777? We've since found out that it stands for the number of people needed as well as the number of objectives we need to meet per faction. We believe these numbers are to meet the "happy ending" Dragon spoke of. Veronica used a wish on the well, and its exact terminology was "must be completeled" for objectives, and "must remain". I don't know how accurate all of this is, but we made the decision to share this information with everyone regardless, just in case. Well. Anonymously, at least. Do either of you know anything about that?
Second-- since you guys are "watching" us, you probably know this already, but because I convinced him to write to you guys, Akechi picked me to share the letter you sent him during trial. Maybe now people will listen when we say it's a bad idea to kill off an entire faction? I have my doubts. But in it, you said you guys were Editors in your previous run a year ago, and that the rest of the Historians were there alongside you. I know you can't tell me their names, but if there's any way to get a hint to the rest of their identities, maybe I could convince the rest of them to contact you? You guys seem like you should talk.
Third-- Akechi said if we use a token, we can save someone from dying if they're partnerless. Do you know if that's true?
Fourth-- Belph told me Beast said to be careful of Dragon's "happy ending" because she might want to use the ink for herself. What would she use it for? And how exactly are we supposed to bring all of you back without going for it?
Lastly-- this one isn't as important, but... it's kind of weird to only call you by title, but the good news is, I'm only missing one letter from your (first) name, and we have Princess (?) Yona's full one. H_ro. If you could give me the last vowel somehow, that would be neat?
I think that's all the major points of discussion? Except maybe next time I promise we'll try harder to actually solve a murder. Any murder. At all. Oh, one last thing: you wouldn't happen to know exactly what it is the Alchemist role can affect around the castle, do you?

So, fun fact, all the Is you wrote individually were blotted out, but both your names came through clearly this time. I believe whatever is causing this is just mocking you, now.

I usually wait for more info to send you a letter, but when you said it's been a long year (or... something like that), I thought maybe you'd like more things to do? Or, well, think about.
Anyway, to answer your question, I talk to both Ions, but the one who's been sharing info with us is the Ion who is... less self-sacrificial? The one who had Fitzgerald for a partner. That's a lot more straightforward.
Stephie told me she was the other Vizier today. Is that what you meant by closer than they appear? Because I have never felt stupider. Either way, I don't think knowing who the roles are is going to help me anymore than this.
I think we're okay on objectives as far as Civilians and Heroes go, but for Villains... Well. We've got our work cut out on that side of things in more ways than one. I hope the message we sent was enough to help, on top of the Historians ... basically copying me. And using me as messenger for it.
... This whole thing is getting a bit ridiculous, isn't it?
Well, I don't really have anything to ask or comment, so. If you can, maybe you could tell me about yourself? All I know is you're close to the older Ion's "age". Or, well, the one that's on his tapestry, at least. That's close to mine, too, though I guess you already knew that.
